advice? i have an old dell latitude, im trying to play morrowind on it, periodically (regularly but not so often that i cant play) lags and the computer makes sounds like its working hard and heating up, from what research ive done it sounds like its overheating/overworked. ive already tweaked the settings best i can in morrowind to make it more compatible, but i still have this problem.

Tue, December 23, 2008 - 11:06 AMYou may want to try using compressed air to blow out the vents and the fan. Also, running the laptop on a hard surface, wood, metal, tile, etc is much better than on a soft surface like your lap, carpet or a blanket.

Also, as stated, blow the sucker out real good with compressed air.
